The property address, otherwise known as the White House, has been the location where various trespassing crimes have been committed over the years. Sometimes the intruders are armed, sometimes the intruders come by air, but mostly, people who jump over the fence are immediately met with armed secret service agents employed to stop their advance on the White House.

Victoria Pena, of Houston, Texas, was reportedly standing beside the man who was with other visitors and tourists. Pena described the scene:
We were at the White house. We were just taking pictures and there was a guy tying up an American flag around his waste, and before you knew it I just heard the guy take a big deep breathe and say, ‘All right let’s do this,’ and he took off. He jumped over the barricade. And he climbed the fence, and once he went over, he kind of lifted his arms up and he yelled something at the top of his lungs but we couldn’t figure it out because by that time the police were yelling ‘get down, get down, get down, we have a jumper.’
The incident happened at 2:45 pm Thursday, November 26th. The suspect, who was arrested and taken into custody has been identified as Joseph Caputo, 22, of Connecticut.
