The liberal ladies of The View were all sugar and spice when Democratic presidential challenger Bernie Sanders came to visit.
Raven-Symone was beside herself sitting by Sanders, stating that young people adore the Socialist liberal. Conservative co-host Candace Cameron-Bure was not there for the segment.
“Why do you think my generation is coming out and supporting you so much, because you’re on SNL and you do everything and you have this Obama-like quality to you,” Raven-Symone said, before another co-host stopped her to make a correction about her statement.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg gave Sanders a warm introduction and asked him why they should vote for him and if he could beat Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
Sanders said he could, but he added that he could beat the Republican candidate as well.
“Republicans win when people don’t vote and give up on the political process,” Sanders said, adding that 80 percent of young people didn’t vote in the last election and that working families often don’t vote. He failed to mention that President Barack Obama still won the 2012 election.

Sanders advocated universal healthcare and paid medical leave. He continued with campaign assertions that all the wealth of the United States was going to the top 1 percent of the wealthiest people. He said he had a “radical idea.”
“Maybe the United States government should represent the middle class and working families of our country and not just a handful of billionaires,” Sanders said.
Sanders said he has 750,000 people committing to donate to his campaign, with each donation averaging around $30 per person. He said that was important because he doesn’t have a Super PAC.
Clinton has a Super PAC to raise money. The PAC, called “Ready for Hillary,” was registered with the Federal Election Commission in 2013.
