Outraged parents and at least one former employee are making sure as many people as possible know about a dentist they say has been physically abusing his child patients. Following last week’s town hall meeting to discuss the allegations against Dr. Howard Schneider, CNN and other major news outlets have begun reporting the disturbing details.
A former employee, who worked for Schneider only briefly and requested not to be identified, spoke out against her ex-employer and is working with law enforcement investigating the case.

“It was horrible,” the source said. “Him putting his hand over the children’s mouth[s], yelling at them, getting close to their ear, telling them they better shut up.”
As for his staff, the former employee alleged Schneider expected the same rough treatment toward young patients.
“He didn’t like for you to be nurturing and make them feel at ease,” she said. “He wanted you to be rough. He would get angry when you would try to calm them down.”

Parents say Schneider’s inappropriate behavior went further than merely handling kids aggressively. The group of roughly 100 concerned parents that showed up for the recent town hall meeting began to organize after one parent posted her daughter’s harrowing experience to her Facebook page.
Not only did the incensed mother claim Schneider hit and choked the young girl; he also allegedly removed seven of her teeth in a procedure that resulted in her being rushed to the hospital. An online petition is currently gathering signatures from those who support launching an investigation into Schneider’s practice with the ultimate goal of ensuring he loses his medical license.
In addition to the many lawsuits currently pending against him, Schneider’s wife reportedly filed for divorce recently.
The dentist released a short statement on his behalf, saying that he is “pissed off” and has done “nothing wrong.”
