Two attempts, two shut downs — that’s what the wife of a Baltimore police officer says happened when she tried to set up a way for the families of the Baltimore 6 to be helped out through popular online donation sites. Sara Weigman-Camarote appeared on The Kelly File Tuesday night and said that she had just learned that IndieGoGo.com turned off the donation page she had started — this occurred not long after the GoFundMe.com donation site went dark.
Weigman-Camarote told Fox News host Megyn Kelly that she’s now working with a retired Baltimore Police Officer to try to raise money for the families of the six officers charged in the Freddie Gray case.
