In a dance routine inspired by the contestant’s most memorable year, Iraq War veteran Noah Galloway earned a rousing standing ovation Monday night with another awesome performance on “Dancing With the Stars.”
Once again showing his dedication to overcoming obstacles, the 33-year-old Alabama native and his dance partner, Sharna Burgess, wowed the judges and moved on to the next round of competition on the hit TV show.
Many in the audience were brought to tears not only by Galloway’s performance, but also by his story of coming to grips with his life-changing battlefield injuries and how hard he pushed himself down the road to recovery.

And after their dance that drew praise from the show’s judges, a number of notable stars took to twitter to offer their congratulations and support to Noah.
It was also revealed by Noah’s dance partner that there was a bit of an accident during rehearsal for Monday’s performance:
