The mother of Alton Nolan (Jah’keem Yisrael), the man who attacked two female workers at his place of employment, eventually beheading one of them, posted a video to her Facebook page Saturday “apologizing” for his actions.
Soon after finding out he lost his job at the Vaughn Foods plant near Oklahoma City, Yisrael attacked and stabbed 54-year-old Colleen Hufford and 43-year-old Traci Johnson, beheading Hufford.
The Muslim convert was charged with first degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon over the weekend while in a hospital bed, having been shot at the scene of the crime by the company’s CEO who is also a reserve sheriff’s deputy with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, CNN reports.

Joyce Nolan, the attacker’s mother, and her daughter Paige posted a video saying Alton was raised “in a good home” and describing him as a “good kid.” Paige called her brother “loving” and “peaceful.” Joyce said,
“My heart is just so heavy right now. I know my son, my son was raised up in a loving home. My son was raised up believing in God, that’s what he believed in. My son was a good kid. You know, I know what they’re saying that he done, but I’m gonna tell you this: that’s not my son. There’s two sides to every story, and we’re only hearing one. His family, our hearts bleed right now because what they saying Alton has done.
I wanna apologize to both families because this is not Alton, but I just I’m praying that justice will prevail; the whole story will come out, the whole story.”
