President Obama was recently interviewed on CBS’ 60 Minutes by correspondent Steve Kroft, and when asked about what he felt about Donald Trump, Obama managed to insult both Trump and Republicans through his response.
“Well, I think that he is a great publicity seeker at a time when the Republican Party hasn’t really figured out what it’s for as opposed to what it’s against,” Obama began.
He continued, “I think that he’s tapped into something that exists in the Republican Party that’s real. I think there is genuine anti-immigrant sentiment in a large portion of at least Republican primary voters, I don’t think it’s uniform.”

Obama went on to belittle Trump as a mere TV character. “He knows how to get attention,” the President said. “He’s the classic reality TV character and at this early stages it’s not surprising that he’s gotten a lot of attention.”
Kroft then asked, “Do think he’s running out of steam? I mean, do you think he’s going to disappear?”
To that President Obama replied, “You know, I’ll leave it up to the pundits to make that determination. I don’t think he’ll end up being president of the United States.”

Naturally, Donald Trump jumped to his Twitter to deliver the final word on Obama’s “terrible” interview.
President Obama was terrible on @60Minutes tonight. He said CLIMATE CHANGE is the most important thing, not all of the current disasters!
