Megyn Kelly lost all patience when a Ferguson update played on screen as she discussed the death of an American journalist who had been beheaded.
She acknowledged that the Ferguson riots are important, but asked if the video could be split-screened, at the very least, in an effort to honor the death of the journalist.
“Look, the protestors and the police are clashing again. Alright? They’re clashing again, but we’re talking about the death of an American – of an American who was beheaded.”
There are very few who would be bold enough to make that stand on live television, contradicting the director’s instructions. As YoungCons notes, “This is why Megyn Kelly is crushing in the ratings. People want to get their news from someone who is going to give it to them straight and not hide the important stories.”
Kelly is one of the few reporters America still holds in high esteem, and we applaud her for reporting the facts without apology.
