As so much of Hollywood is still absorbed in and chattering about the controversy surrounding the Sony Pictures’ movie “The Interview” and the international firestorm it set off, here’s a super-successful actor whose attention is directed elsewhere — to the U.S. troops serving overseas this Christmas.
Bruce Willis has made quite an impact in TV and film roles, as well as in U.S. military bases around the world. Willis, often appearing with his band The Accelerators, has long supported the USO and Armed Forces Entertainment.
The Emmy Award-winning actor and action hero of the “Die Hard” films was quite a hit when he went on a USO entertainment tour to the Mideast in the fall of 2003.

This holiday season, Willis wanted to take time to let service members to know that he and his fellow Americans are still thinking about them, even though many are deployed far from their families.
