For the first time in nearly a decade, the GOP will have full control of Congress when 74 fresh Republican faces are sworn in on Tuesday. One of those newcomers to Capitol Hill is Representative-elect Mia Love of Utah.
The first black woman elected to Congress as a Republican, Mia Love — the Brooklyn-born daughter of Haitian immigrants — was a guest on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. Show host Martha Raddatz tested Love’s resolve by asking a rather loaded question about Senator Ted Cruz and Obamacare.
Cruz — an outspoken Texas Republican who has come under fire from GOP leadership on the hill — has promised to do everything he can to defund, repeal or dismantle or otherwise get rid of Obamacare.

When asked if she would join staunch conservative Ted Cruz in that effort, Mia Love responded in a way that showed she is not the kind of politician to quickly change her tune after getting elected. Love gave a quick, concise and clear-cut answer that you can see by clicking on the video above.
