Originating as a Vine video on The Aviationist, one cameraman captures the close encounter of the B-1 Bomber taking off from Al Udeid, Qatar, to fight ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
Nicknamed “Bone” by its pilot, the B-1B Lancer is a long-range strategic bomber usually operating from Dyess Air Force Base in Texas or Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.
The Lancer currently has the largest internal payload of any other bomber and is the first aircraft to fly at a supersonic speed using synthetic fuel, according to the Air Force.
