Curious what the Midterm Election predictions for 2014 are?
There is a 90 percent chance that Republicans will take control of Senate, and there is an even greater chance that Republicans will retain control of the House. More than 99 percent, in fact.
Here are the five reasons for this political forecast, as listed by The Conservative Post:
1)The public is fed up with the Democrats. Americans overwhelmingly think that the U.S. [is] headed in wrong direction.
2)The national landscape. On average, the better things are going in the country, the better the president’s party will do in an election. At this point Obama’s presidential approval is lower than any previous president’s, and was voted the worst president ever.
3)Fiscal Deficit. The Obama administration policies have taken the country into a deeper deficit. We are $16.7 trillion in debt, and it is increasing and getting worse…much worse.
4) Illegal Immigration. Democrats have made a political calculation that allowing undocumented immigrants into the country will pay off for them. But the backlash will be felt come election day.
5)Freedom. This administration has trumped the rights of millions of law-abiding Americans. So much, that the Obama presidency is viewed as a threat to American freedom.
We have reason to believe this forecast to be a lot more credible than those pertaining to the weather. We all know how those can be from time to time…
