Vice President Joe Biden is known for his gaffes. Inappropriately touching women recently has become an issue as well. There seems to be a number of Obama officials resigning for harassment of women lately–but that’s for another column.
However, it seems that Joe Biden’s comments recently on the “emancipation of wealth” most likely are coming straight from the belief structure of this administration; this was not a gaffe. This is how they really feel and think. Never mind that the president and the first family alone have taken $44 million dollars worth of vacations at the taxpayer’s expense; it seems taking other people’s money is what they constantly think about (do as I say–not as I do).
Vice President Joe Biden used a Black History Month event at his official residence Monday night to decry the rich, both white and black, for stunting economic growth and suggested that “emancipation” is in order. “A lot of wealthy white and black people aren’t bad but they control 1 percent of the economy and this cannot stand,” Biden told about 100 guests, including past civil rights activists and NBC weatherman Al Roker. “It’s not fair because the business experts are saying that concentration of wealth is stunting growth. So let’s do something that’s worthy of emancipation,” said Biden, according to a press pool report of the event.
It seems that Rudy Giuliani was right on target when he called Barack Obama a communist. Dictionary.com defines communism this way: “a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.” Well, according to that definition, taking another person’s wealth by force and giving it to the government would make you a communist.

Biden went on to say:
Then, explaining the impact of Civil War era emancipation, Biden concluded, “What happened is not only did we move toward freeing black Americans but also the conscience of white Americans.”
So now we have racism thrown into the equation as well. Typical, don’t you think? If you don’t give away all your money to the government, then you’re a racist.
I’m counting the days until this administration is out of office.
