The lawlessness at the IRS continues and the mainstream media still refuses to get involved, never mind the Justice Department. Recently we learned that back-up tapes for Lois Lerner’s missing emails have been available all along and the federal government says it is just too onerous to retrieve. Really? So the Internal Revenue Service, the agency responsible for collecting taxes from American citizens, the agency that can destroy people’s lives in an instant and one that has incredible power, the agency that is alleged to have used the power of the federal government to harm Obama’s political opposition, has been lying to the American people, to Congress, and to multiple federal judges now for over a year about Lerner’s emails not being available. That my friends is a crime, a big one. That means the federal government is no better than the Kremlin, or the Chinese Communist Party power structure.
What bothers me is that the evidence is not being protected. Where are these back-up tapes? Who controls them? Obama’s people? IRS employees? These need to be put under lock and key and be watched by both sides of the aisle until the pertinent information can be retrieved. Forensic FBI email investigators need to be sent in to find out what has happened to all of the information. A federal judge may issue an order to do just that, since the court has given the IRS two chances to produce the evidence and has been lied to both times in the Judicial Watch case.
In addition, we have learned that one of Lois Lerner’s blackberries, the one that she used to email the White House and others about targeting Tea Party Groups, was destroyed AFTER Congress got involved and had requested the information to be saved. Again, this is obstruction of justice and is a felony crime. Where is the Justice Department? Crickets… Obviously, the attorney general cannot be trusted to do his job and uphold the law. We are dealing with gangsters people. Corruption is staring us in the face. If Holder will not appoint a special prosecutor, then a federal judge needs to do it for him. I hope this will be the outcome in the Judicial Watch lawsuit.
