Univision’s bombshell report on the Fast and Furious scandal aired Sunday night. The Spanish language network’s dogged journalism does not lay off the Obama administration, in contrast to the corrupt U.S. media who will not attempt to uncover Obama corruption and ineptitude no matter what.
Using graphic photos and pulling no punches, Univision detailed how 16 Mexican teenagers in Juarez were murdered, and 3 of the weapons used in the murders came from US. authorities who freely gave them to gun runners with no ability to trace them. They also uncovered new weapons that were previously unreported. As Latinos learn about the carnage and the cover-up, they wonder “Who will pay?” The toll is much greater than this. Even the reporters admit that the tally is unknown. What they did do is to put faces and names to these victims.

For months, the conservative big guns have talked about Border Agent Brian Terry as if he were the only important victim of this program. It has been clear for months that the real carnage is in Mexico, on the other side of the border. As Univision finally takes the lead, today, Rush Limbaugh and other hosts begin to talk about dead Mexicans. At least better late than never. Let’s hope this wave crests in time to wake people up and serves as another graphic illustration of the incompetence of this administration.
Paul Ryan, for his part, is calling for the corrupt, racist Attorney General Eric Holder to go. I have a better idea. It’t time for the fraudulent, corrupt, excuse-making Obama administration to go. Lets join our Latino friends and make it happen. We cannot bring back the victims of atrocities that we, to our shame as a nation, abetted. But we can make sure it never happens again and turn the page.
