One year after a terrorist attack at the finish line of the Boston Marathon rocked the city and devastated the entire nation, officials once again found suspicious packages left at the final point of the race Tuesday.
According to Boston police spokesperson Dave Estrada, two backpacks were found near the finish line, leading authorities to clear the area and divert nearby trains.
Bomb squads are surveying the vicinity and, according to Twitter alerts, Boston police are asking individuals to remain outside of the area.

The scare comes amid tributes to the three individuals killed – and hundreds injured – during the bombing believed to have been perpetuated by Muslim brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
