According to the FBI, there may be a more sinister ghoul lurking about this Halloween. The FBI just issued a statement, warning police to be vigilant and on the lookout for an anarchist group known as the “National Liberation Militia.” The FBI stated that the group may be planning attacks on police while dressed in Halloween costumes.

The warning is reminiscent of the recent shooting in Fort Meyers, Fl., where one man was killed and five were injured at the Zombicon, a charitable festival where people are dressed as zombies. The killer is still at large from the Zombicon shooting and the FBI is now warning of similar attacks that could take place this weekend.

As reported by the New York Post, “The FBI released an alert Monday warning the NYPD and police departments nationwide of a potentially dangerous anarchist group that says it plans to ambush cops on Halloween. The extremist group – known as the National Liberation Militia – has proposed a “Halloween Revolt” that encourages supporters to cause a disturbance to attract police and then viciously attack them, the FBI said. The group has recommended that members wear typical Halloween masks and use weapons such as bricks, bottles and firearms, according to the release.”

It is unclear as to how the FBI received the information, but Western Journalism reported recently that calls for violence against police are being taken seriously by authorities. A Black Lives Matter activist, Latausha Nedd, was arrested recently after being seen on video waving, “a gun and machete,” and calling for “blacks to take police officer’s guns, take over a police station, and kill white people.” Nedd also said in her videos that “it’s open season on killing c—ka cops.” Nedd was slapped with a high bail of 70,000 dollars and the judge allowed the charges of “criminal solicitation and terroristic threats” to go forward.
