Citizens of Denmark will most likely need to practice civil disobedience in order to protect themselves from being attacked by migrants. Sales of pepper spray just might soar after the Danish learn what happened to one 17-year-old Dane.
According to Danish news site TVS, the unidentified young woman was in Sønderborg in Southern Denmark at around 10 P.M. when an English-speaking man attempted to take off her pants and underclothes. At that time, the woman grabbed her pepper spray and let the man have a faceful.
Now, the young woman will most likely be charged with committing a crime. The reason given by Knud Kirsten, head of the local police explained, is that it is a crime to discharge, much less possess, pepper spray in Denmark.

Responding to the news that the victim will be charged for defending herself, many Danes let their voices be heard in the comments section of TVS’ article. One crafty Dane has a way around the ban on pepper spray. He commented: “Spray paint in neon colors is NOT illegal to bring. They will have the same effect. And the culprit is ‘marked’ a day or two.”
Americans also commented on the TVS news site. One man from West Palm Beach, Fla., wrote: “This is a joke, EVERYONE has the natural right to defend themselves with whatever weapons are appropriate. Time to get rid of that law and others which enslave the people. Btw im sure that the politicians and judges are protected so why should they care about the people…its not as if it is THEIR CHILDREN in danger from these barbarians!”
