The conflict between the two arms of Islam is going global. The Gulf states are scared to death of an Iranian Shiite theocracy taking over from Persia to the Levant and down to Yemen.
The Obama “success story” in Yemen is sparking the next world war. Muslim armies are mobilizing from Saudi Arabia to Turkey to counter the Iranian-backed militias that are fighting ISIS in Syria and Iraq and that have toppled the pro-American government in Yemen.
Our allies in the region can no longer count on American stability and security. It’s a free-for-all and survival of the strongest. This could get really ugly fast, and our Dear Leader has no idea what to do about it.

The Jerusalem Post outlined the scenario well in its recent report:
Feeling that its back was against the wall as Iranian-backed Shi’ite Houthi forces moved to take over neighboring Yemen, Saudi Arabia has lashed out with its own Sunni coalition, threatening to take the sectarian conflict to a new level.
Reports that the Pakistanis and Egyptians are sending troops and that the Turks are also on board, have set the stage for a major expansion of the regional Sunni-Shi’ite struggle.
The Sunni states are worried about a US tilt toward Iran as Washington seeks to finalize a nuclear agreement, added Maddy-Weitzman.
“The real problem here is that American inaction on Yemen has sent a message to the entire region to not rely on American power and prestige as they did in years past,” [Oren] Adaki said.
Yes, the world is very aware of this new-found American weakness and refusal to lead in parts of the world where, in the past, America set the rules for local nations to play by. This uncertainty is leading to a much greater conflict as smaller, ambitious powers with an evil agenda take advantage of the power vacuum.
This is how world wars start. Regional powers bent on conquering their neighbors are allowed to rampage through the neighborhood and larger powers are forced to take sides. Either the Obama administration has no idea what to do and is incompetent, or they are intentionally allowing the Iranians to get what they want. Obviously, either scenario is not good for America and our security.
