This morning in Jerusalem, during the Purim festival, a Palestinian terrorist drove his car into a crowd of Israelis near a border guard station. Five people were wounded.
This comes on the heels of several other ramming events in the contested city in recent history. Last year, a woman and an infant were killed in a similar attack.
The Jerusalem Post reports: “Police said the driver veered from the road onto the sidewalk, before getting out of the vehicle with a weapon, attempting to stab passersby. He was shot and wounded by a security guard.”

“Our answer to terror is to continue with our daily lives,” he said, adding that Purim festivities in the capital would go forward as planned.
The Blaze reported that the man got out of the car with a butcher knife after ramming the pedestrians but was shot by a policeman before he could stab anyone. They go on to say: “Palestinian social media was filled with words of praise for the attackers, while a Palestinian music duo produced a song in honor of vehicular attacks on Jews.”
