A recent article by the New York Times attempted to tarnish Walmart’s name. The piece was made up more on fiction than fact, and the lies were too loud to ignore.
Rather than remain silent, the Vice President of Walmart Corporate Communications, David Tovar, chose to respond – but with an interesting twist. His approach was to post the article on Walmart’s blog with his personal edits, exposing the lies one by one:
Instead of allowing the mass media to get away with their blatantly skewed bias, this honest response is an encouraging reminder for us to use our voices to fight back and make a positive difference.
