The good news from Team Obama just keeps coming for America. On Thursday, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, told Congress during testimony to the House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security that thousands of unaccompanied children are still crossing into the United States, mostly from Central America.
Unaccompanied children crossing the southern border into the United States still number in the thousands, probably the tens of thousands, even though the percentages are low.
“So you’re still talking about — and percentages are lower, but you’re still talking about…
“Thousands of people, yes,” Johnson said.
“Yes, yes, thousands…” [Rep. Henry] Cuellar [(D-Texas)] echoed.
Cuellar rounded the number of unaccompanied children expected to enter the U.S. this year to “30,000 individuals, or maybe less than 30,000. It’s still a lot,” the congressman noted.
Illegal immigration is the goal of the Democratic Party and any other leftist organizations as, in the long run, it is a way to cement power. If liberals can grow the part of the population that is dependent on government, and at the same time demonize Republicans for wanting immigrants to be self-sufficient, they can develop a voting block that will continually vote for Democrats and additional government benefits. It’s a never-ending cycle.
The Left wants to get this demographic change any way it can. If they can lure thousands of Central American and Mexican children across the border into the United States with a promise of a better life, the end justifies the means. Coupled with the president’s illegal executive action on immigration, allowing millions of illegal immigrants to stay in the United States, the point of no return for any responsible government to be elected to power in this country is approaching.

All of this immigration will put a huge strain on local, state, and federal coffers and taxpayers. We have already learned that illegal immigrants who are granted work permits will be allowed to collect the earned income tax credit from the IRS, even if they paid no taxes. This was the plan all along.
Call a place paradise, kiss it goodbye.
