ABC’s George Stephanopoulos sat down with Obama to ask him the “tough” questions about his unpopular approach to foreign affairs and the growing threat by ISIS militants. The ABC host asked the president, “Are we under serious threat right now from ISIS?”
“You know, I think we have been under serious threat my entire presidency and we’ve been under serious threat pre-dating 9/11 from those who embrace this ideology,” said Obama.
Isn’t this the same man who claimed that the terrorist network was “on the run” and “decimated”? Didn’t he repeatedly do a victory dance after Osama bin-Laden was killed, as if he personally pulled the trigger? Now he’s saying that we have been under serious threat since before George W. Bush?

Stephanopoulos went on to read a piece that Obama had written in 2006: “Without a well-articulated strategy that the public supports and the world understands, America will lack legitimacy and also need the power it needs to make the world safer than it is today.”
“The majority of Americans don’t support your path on foreign policy,” Stephanopoulos said. “Are you failing by your own standard?”
“You know George, I know we go back to the polls but let me just say, throughout the first half of my presidency, the polls consistently showed strong support for my foreign policy,” Obama replied.

“But the public has to support it, doesn’t it?” Stephanopoulos asked.
“But not at every minute, George, not every week, because there’s going to be times where the world is messy,” Obama said with a chuckle.
Yes, Mr. Obama, the world is messy because you are unqualified to be sitting in the White House.
