The Trump family has rallied around one another throughout Donald Trump’s campaign for President. Trump’s wife, Melania, can occasionally be seen doing interviews and standing by his side on the campaign trail. His adult children have played an active role in his campaign. Most notably, his daughter Ivanka Trump.
Before his candidacy for president, Trump was most well known for being a reality television star and a multi-billionaire who created his own empire. One of the trademark policies of his campaign has been promising to bring jobs back home to Americans that are being outsourced to China. “American companies make better products,” he said. However, recent photos indicate that his daughter, whose a successful businesswoman, hasn’t always abided by this statement.
A leaked photo was published on Gawker by Mike Twombly from a Bloomingdale’s on 59th Street in New York City that shows boxes of Ivanka Trumps Marc Fisher footwear line that have the words, “Made in China” on it.

Trump’s campaign has placed a great importance on anti-China policy. In the past he has promised to impose 45 percent tariffs on any and all imports from a China. Later he said that the percentage was negotiable. He even asserted that he wouldn’t be against have a trade war with China, insisting that outsourcing jobs to China is a terrible thing and that competition abroad is taking away jobs from hard working Americans.
“We’re being killed on trade – absolutely destroyed,” says Trump.
