The New York Times introduced a daily online video program on Monday featuring an inside look at the editorial decision-making process at the newspaper.

The program, called TimesCast, will appear every day on NYTimes.com at 1:00 pm (1700 GMT), the Times said in a statement.

“Each daily TimesCast program takes viewers inside The New York Times newsroom and includes the editors’ daily Page One meeting and discussions between editors and reporters about the stories they are covering that day,” the Times said in a statement.
Monday’s nearly six-and-a-half-minute edition featured video of editors in New York discussing the day’s top stories with the newspaper’s foreign editor, deputy business editor and the Times bureau in Washington.
It also featured an interview with a Times correspondent in Washington about President Barack Obama’s health care bill.
