Juliet Marine Systems of Portsmouth, NH has just introduced their latest stealth surface vessel, GHOST, which combines the technologies of a fighter aircraft and an attack helicopter into a high performance marine watercraft that will create a protective fleet perimeter for the U.S. Navy. According to Julet Marine Systems:
‘The GHOST is a revolutionary proprietary technology vessel platform that will assure force protection through stealth fighter/attack capabilities along with integrated situation awareness.”
GHOST is a fast, agile, long-range, super-cavitating, semi-submersible surface craft powered by aviation-quality gas-turbine engines and is operated by a crew of three in a center-hull command module. The isolated center-hull provides a stable base for weapons systems even in rough seas. The 48,000 pound GHOST is a versatile surface craft for use by the Navy, Coast Guard, and other military branches.
