On Monday, MSNBC blamed Christians for the brutal actions of ISIS, the mistreatment of women, and homophobia.
“This is a religion [Islam] that’s ancient. That’s honorable… Why is it that we get confused between the two?” host Michael Eric Dyson asked. “We don’t do it with Christianity, because there’s a lot of terrorism going on and being promoted in the identity movement and white supremacist groups within Christianity itself.”
“If you’re talking about oppressing women, if you’re talking about being homophobic, we can look right at home. We don’t have to look across the seas in order to see that,” James Peterson said.
Yes, the Islamic caliphate building in the Middle East is not slaughtering women and children, rounding up women to be their Sharia Law sex slaves, and beheading journalists.
Oh wait, yes they are!
Thankfully, Fox News’ “The Five” saw these incendiary comments and quickly refuted their outlandish claims.
“There’s nothing more pathetic than watching individuals emasculated by their Islamophobia. They are literally scared to come out and say something honest,” Greg Gutfeld said. “They said that Christianity is against women, while there is an entire radical Islamic faction that is tormenting women. That’s incredible!”
Bob Beckel, renowned liberal of “The Five,” actually refuted MSNBC’s claims, saying what they said was very “ill-liberal” and that they are just “sad.”
