Megyn Kelly and Brit Hume discuss Obama’s 2007 claim that he could singlehandedly make the world safer from and win over the Muslim world.
“…Well I truly believe that the day I’m inaugurated, not only does the country look at itself differently, but the world looks at America differently. If I’m reaching out to the Muslim world, they understand that I’ve lived in a Muslim country and I may be a Christian, but I also can understand their point of view. I think that the world will have confidence that I am listening to them. That will ultimately make us safer…” Obama said in 2007 to the New Hampshire Public Radio.
Well, so much for that idea. Recently, Obama has announced that we do “not have a strategy” for dealing with this terrorist organization. ISIS relentlessly gains more and more control in the Middle East and is barbarically beheading journalists (as well as Christians) to send a message to the U.S. That message is loud and clear. Is Obama not seeing it, or choosing not to see it?
