He said it more than once. ObamaCare architect and advocate Jonathan Gruber — an MIT economist and frequent visitor to the Obama White House — has again been found on video to have put down Americans as too “stupid” to understand what’s really going on with Obama’s health care takeover scheme.
As Western Journalism reported on Tuesday, a chastened Gruber tried to calm the storm that erupted after he was revealed on video to have smugly cited how ObamaCare was made law thanks to administration trickery and congressional deception — a legislative fraud made possible, according to Gruber, because of the “stupidity of the American voter.”
On Fox News’ “The Kelly File,” Congressman Trey Gowdy joined Megyn Kelly in blasting the “arrogance” of Gruber and other ObamaCare backers who have relied on a strategic “lack of transparency” in order to pass and then promote the law that the majority of Americans still don’t like and don’t want.
Gowdy slammed Gruber for insulting the people who put the president in office not once, but twice.
“We were sold a false bill of goods … and they’re laughing all the way to the bank,” he said of ObamaCare.
