Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh had some harsh words for democratic front runner Hillary Clinton. Pointing to her past transgressions and recent “screw ups”, he called for her to suspend her campaign.
On Tuesdays show, Limbaugh said, “It’s time for the Republicans to stand up and say, ‘Mrs. Clinton, there’s too much going on with you here. There’s a lot of smoke now, we think we see some flames. We think you should suspend [your campaign.]”
“This is what Dingy Harry would do,” referring to Senate minority leader Harry Reid. In a political imitation he mocked Reid saying, “Mitt Romney hasn’t paid his taxes in 25 years. A friend of mine told me. We think Romney should suspend his campaign to look into it.”

Limbaugh’s comments were inspired from an editorial about Clinton that calls on the candidate to suspend her campaign. The editorial was written for Investors titled, “It’s Time Hillary Suspended Her Campaign.”
The Clinton campaign has dealt with scandal after scandal and somehow found a way to continue their success in the voting booth. However, Clinton is at the top of the delegate race for the Democratic Party making it rather unlikely she will suspend her campaign voluntarily.
