Howard Dean joined the cast of Morning Joe to discuss the horrendous murders in Paris at the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, but refused to call the killers “Muslim terrorists.”
He said that these kinds of murderers have no regard for human life, and their actions are “not what the Koran says.”
“I stopped calling these people Muslim terrorists. They’re about as Muslim as I am,” Dean began. “I mean, they have no respect for anybody else’s life, that’s not what the Koran says. Europe has an enormous radical problem. I think ISIS is a cult. Not an Islamic cult. I think it’s a cult.”

He concluded by stating that he finds it interesting that these murderers managed to obtain weapons when France has such strict gun control laws.
