Hillary Clinton’s campaign and her surrogates are doing everything they can to steer clear of WikiLeaks.
HILLARY CLINTON: What’s really important about WikiLeaks is that the Russian government has engaged in espionage against Americans.

KATE BOLDUAN: So, you’re comfortable just saying we’re not going to be answering to this issue that’s become a campaign issue?
ADAM HODGE: Look, it’s not that we don’t want to talk about the issues on the campaign. Quite frankly, I think this isn’t the most important issue of the campaign. The really important issue around this is that Russia is behind this attack and they are doing it to influence the election.
JANET NAPOLITANO: I don’t pay much attention to the WikiLeaks except for the fact that if there’s been attribution to the Russians by our intelligence forces.

TIM KAINE: These are connected to a Russian government propaganda effort to destabilize the election, to affect the outcome.
MADELEINE ALBRIGHT: These are leaks that are being manipulated by the Russians.
JOHN PODESTA: The Russians are intervening in this election on behalf of Donald Trump.
ROBBY MOOK: These are stolen documents, stolen by the Russians — this now confirmed from John Podesta — they were being put out for exactly this purpose.
JOEL BENENSON: These emails, we have no idea whether they are authentic or not or whether they have been tampered with once the Russians — which 17 American intelligence agencies say are responsible for these hackings.
