In a speech commemorating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Sylvia Mathews Burwell encouraged members of a left-leaning organization to assist others in Obamacare enrollment.

“African-Americans have the lowest life expectancy of any other race in this country,” Burwell said Monday at an event in Washington, D.C. hosted by the National Action Network. The group was founded by MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton.
“In the spirit of Dr. King, we are asking you to help us again, in big ways and small. Host an enrollment event at your church or community center. Reach out to your partners and ask for their help. Use Twitter and social media to spread the word about the February 15 deadline. Tell your neighbors and friends,” the former Clinton deputy chief of staff added.
Burwell expressed her gratitude to Sharpton on Twitter for inviting her to the event:
