In the Same press conference on Tue, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs mocked both Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Movement.
He dismissed the tea parties saying, “it is a very successful private enterprise. There appear to be fewer speech makers unemployed in this economy.” And He read the words ‘Eggs, Milk, Bread (crossed out), Hope, and Change’ off of his hand.
This occurred the same day that Obama assured the country he wanted to reach out in a bipartisan fashion and called for an end to petty politics. I am glad the White House Believes in leading by example.
