Hillary Clinton’s email scandal has even been too egregious for the liberal media to completely ignore. The New York Times’ Nick Confessore is the latest journalist to express his doubts about Clinton’s explanation of why she not only used a private email server, but why the server was wiped clean.
Confessore appeared Monday on MSNBC’s Now with Alex Wagner:
…Even the most ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton has to be like, ‘You did what? Wait. After you got notification, then you went and scrubbed the server?’ What message does that send even if it is innocent, which it might not be, because we don’t know, because we’ll never know.
Clinton, who is expected to announce her candidacy for president this month, has become a case study in how not to handle a PR crisis. She has stumbled badly in trying to defend her actions regarding her email account and private server while serving as Secretary of State, raising concern among her supporters that she may have already blown the biggest opportunity of her political career.
