In a cellphone video posted to LiveLeak, an unidentified drunk man was waiting on a sidewalk for someone inside a bar to come out and fight him when he met up with three other men who were waiting for their ride. After the drunk man explained that he just had an altercation in the bar, one of the other men asked why he was so confident that he could beat the potential opponent in a street fight.
“Why do you think you can take him? What’s your competitive edge? I’m just curious, do you do training? Are you jiu jitsu, do you do striking? He’s got some size on you. Are you more aggressive?”

The drunk man replied,
“I will just say something in confidentiality. I was in the SEALs.”
The other men doubted his claim and immediately began to question his credibility. As they inquired about his training year and deployment location, the SEAL impostor said that he did not receive a Trident after his BUD/S training (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL). He went on to claim that he was attached to a SEAL Team Artillery unit that served in an area of Afghanistan that they wouldn’t know about.

The men turned the friendly conversation into a hard lesson for the phony SEAL when they explained they were Army Rangers who did not like their Navy counterparts. One of the Rangers, who sounded a bit drunk himself, slapped the young man a few times and offered his opinion of SEALS:
“I think they’re neat people. I think they’re cool. I think they’re, like, good actors, like they’re funny, like they almost, like almost, pretend to be, like, soldiers, just like you.”
They slapped his face a few times, pushed him to the ground, and warned him not to continue his charade as a Navy SEAL.
