Another day, another assault against political correctness by Donald Trump. In a radio interview Friday, he said he wouldn’t stand for attacks against Christians.
You know when I see really, beyond liberty, there’s an assault on anything having to do with Christianity.
They don’t want to use the word Christmas anymore at department stores..
Sims: Hah, right!
There’s always lawsuits where, and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.
Mr. Trump argued he would take the fight to those who try to stifle the word “Christmas.”
So, I mean there’s a great assault on Christianity in so many ways. I will assault that. I will go so strongly against so many of the things when they take away the word Christmas.
I go out of my way to use the word Christmas.
While it’s admirable for Mr. Trump to defend Christians, it shouldn’t come as a shock when they are persecuted.
1 Peter 4:12-14 says:
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
