Just as his father President Donald Trump can provoke media outrage with a single tweet, all it took was one tweet about the media from Donald Trump Jr. to provoke a similar response.
On Saturday, the eldest Trump son posted a picture of himself on Twitter wearing a t-shirt that read, “Very Fake News.” The phrase was coined by his father, President Donald Trump, who referred to CNN as such during a press conference.
The picture was captioned, “I’m going to have to buy 5-10,000 of these to pass around to our buddies in the #MSM. In the meantime I’ll model it for them. #yourewelcome.”

Earlier this month, Donald Trump Jr. indicated his future may be in the political realm.

“Do I want to be behind the scenes and be a mouthpiece and fight back against crazy liberal media? Maybe,” he said.
“Going back to doing deals is boring after 18 months. The politics bug bit me,” he added.
His comments inspired a round of reports that he might run for New York’s governor in 2018, but Donald Trump Jr. later said that was not in his plans.
“Maybe someday,” Trump said. “It’s not something I’m doing now. But you never know, it’s fascinating stuff.”
