Host of “Meet the Press” Chuck Todd is on a tour of the competitive Senate races and said that, while the Republicans do not have a lock yet on the Senate, the longer that ISIS and Ebola is in the news, the better it is for Republicans because it continues to hurt Democrats.
“Democrats are trying to have a closing argument in these Senate races, making a case that the Republicans are maybe too extreme on issues important to women or too extreme on domestic issues, but they can’t,” said Todd. “If they can’t break through with that, and it’s Ebola and ISIS that are dominating the headlines, it may put Republicans in a better position.”
