News broke on Thursday that President Obama and Iran had tentatively agreed to a deal on the latter’s nuclear power program.
Thursday evening, after the deal had been struck, syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer joined Fox News’ Special Report and lambasted the Iranian deal and criticized Obama in the process.
“When Obama speaks about snapping [the sanctions] back if the Iranians are cheating, there is not a chance in the world that the Chinese, the Russians or even the Europeans are going to snap on sanctions again,” Krauthammer fumed. “We would be acting alone. We would be completely isolated.”

Then Krauthammer laid out two concessions the Iranians received in the deal, one of which comes as an absolute shock.
“So number one, they are going to get their economy back, and that’s all they really wanted,” Krauthammer said. “But the second, the most astonishing thing is that in return they are not closing a single nuclear facility. Their entire nuclear infrastructure is intact.”
The deal outraged Israel’s Netanyahu so much that he issued a scathing press conference, calling the deal “unconscionable” and one that would lead to a “horrific” nuclear war.
