Rapper Azealia Banks has started a war of words with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Banks, in a series of perverse and base tweets, suggested Palin should be raped by a gang of black men to “bang some sense into that ‘ho.”
The Twitter feud didn’t end with Banks calling for Palin to be assaulted, but continued with Banks tweeting what People magazine called a, “profanity-laden Twitter rant,” amid suggestions Palin needs to engage in sexual acts with black men.

Palin, apparently not about to let the threat against her safety go unchecked, responded to Banks in a Facebook post. Palin wrote…
Hey Female Rapper – listen up, little darling. No one has any idea what you’re wigging out about in these bizarre, violent rants against me, but you’re obviously not exercising enough intelligence…In this life, you’re blessed to have been given an influential platform. So have I. Why don’t we strengthen both our platforms and work together on something worthwhile – like condemning racism, along with empowering young women to defend themselves against a most misogynist, degrading, devastating assault perpetrated by evil men – rape. Thanks. And now I’ll go through my young daughter’s playlist to make sure there hasn’t been any inadvertent addition of any anti-woman, pro-rape garbage that you seem to endorse, which perpetuates the cultural challenges we face in America. I encourage other parents to do the same. God bless you Ms. Banks, as you consider a change of heart.
Banks then issued what some have said was a pseudo-apology, after Palin made it clear she was going to sue Banks.

That’s when Palin’s daughter Bristol jumped in the cat fight. Bristol used her Patheos blog to address her concerns with Banks’ behavior towards her mother. Bristol wrote…
I want to start off this post by saying I would never wish any of these threats on Azealia’s mother (or anyone’s mother for that matter). She said the best thing to happen to my mom is if she was gang raped by a group of black men. ‘Honestly… Let’s find the biggest burliest blackest negroes and let them run a train on her. Film it and put it on worldstar.’ It is unfortunate people in my generation think they can do, and say, whatever they wish without any sort of consequence. There are consequences for every action you make Miss Bank$, and there will be consequences for your unimaginable threats. I am not going to waste another minute of my day addressing you, but I will finish my post by addressing what you said in regards to my children.
This is your quote: ‘If Bristol Palin listened to my music she probably wouldn’t have all those cotdamn kids!!!!”…So, I looked up your lyrics. Which song should I have been listening too? ‘Hood Bitch,’ ‘P-U-S-S-Y,’ ‘Queen of Clubs,’ ‘Grand Scam,’ or ‘Big Talk?’ Just let me know.
At the moment, the former governor is reportedly consulting with attorneys over how to proceed with a civil suit against Banks.
Banks, as of the publication of this article, has not further escalated the feud on Twitter. It is unclear whether or not the conflict will grow or subside with all three individuals agreeing to go their separate ways.
