Joining Megyn Kelly on The Kelly File, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell criticized NBC because of Ayman Mohyeldin’s assertion that Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle was a “racist” and “went on killing sprees in Iraq” while on assignment.
Bozell told Kelly that Mohyeldin’s comments shouldn’t come as a surprise due to his controversial genesis as a journalist.
“He’s a fellow that worked for Al Jazeera back around 2011. He gave an interview to the Columbia Journalism Review,” Bozell said.

“This is what he said: ‘The Arab viewer doesn’t want just news. They want something more polemic. They want to feel they have someone who is fighting on their behalf.’ And with that he entered the field of journalism.”
“What is remarkable, Megyn, is that he went from Al Jazeera, doing that, to CNN which hired him to do that, to NBC which now has him, to this day, as their Mideast correspondent doing exactly that, projecting an Islamic agenda, propaganda, on that news network,” Bozell added.
Bozell concluded by wondering when MSNBC or NBC would “fly right.”

“In the last year, they’ve had to apologize four different times for outrages and yet they continue doing it over and over again, putting these left-wing polemicists on their news programs,” he said.
