Judging by social media chatter Tuesday afternoon, the Republican primary that pitted House Majority Leader Eric Cantor against Tea Party challenger David Brat is shaping up to be an upset win for the latter.

With less than 40 percent of the vote tallied, Brat has amassed nearly 16,000 votes to Cantor’s 11,763.
