Retired Lt. Col. Allen West joined Tucker Carlson of Fox’s Fox & Friends to discuss Islam and the recent terror attacks in Paris when he uttered seven little words the Obama administration hasn’t.
First, he was asked why it is so difficult to say the U.S. is fighting a war with radical Islam.
“Well, first of all, I think that we have to come to understand that when tolerance becomes a one-way street, it leads to cultural suicide,” West said.

He added that when we mislabel terrorist attacks such as the one on Fort Hood as “workplace violence” and erase any ties to Islamic terrorism, “we are really dismissing the enemy for who they are.”
“We are in a war against Islamo-fascism,” West continued. “… But you first have to combat the ideology of the enemy, which is what General el-Sisi said in his speech in Egypt. We refuse to do that, so therefore we do not acknowledge the true intent and intentions and objectives of this enemy.”
