American Crossroads released this must watch short video about Barack Obama’s contention that he is the 4th Greatest President of all-time.
But not to be upstaged by his boss, at yesterday’s White House press briefing, when a reporter asked the president’s spokesman Jay Carney about Barack Obama’s claim that he could be considered the fourth best president in U.S. history, behind only Lincoln, FDR, and LBJ.
Carney basically said, yes he is:
Sure, I mean, this has obviously been of great interest in the conservative blogosphere, but the fact of the matter is, he has — he was making a point about the volume and substance of the legislative accomplishments, and the foreign policy accomplishments, in his nearly three years in power. He was not making an assertion of — that only historians will make about the success or — this was not a comparison of success to other presidencies except in the significance and substance and size of the legislative accomplishments, whether it’s health care reform, which was an effort that took 100 years to accomplish; or the Recovery Act, which was an enormous response to an historic economic crisis; the bailout of the automobile industry, the saving of the American automobile industry against great political opposition; and on the foreign policy front, continuing to take the fight successfully to al-Qaeda, embodied most notably in the successful mission to remove Osama bin Laden from the battlefield; the successful efforts that we led to bring the international community behind the effort of the Libyan opposition to remove Moammar Qaddafi from power.
I could go on, and believe me, I will, as time permits. But it was within the context of the substance and volume of what has happened in the face of enormous challenges in these past nearly three years.
Ah, see? Obama was not saying he was greater than George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, or Ronald Reagan — except in “the significance and substance and size of the legislative accomplishments.” And in some ways, he truly has exceeded all his predecessors, placing him in a category all his own.

The right candidate is now leading in Iowa, and is in the number spot in New Hampshire. Praying is a good idea. We need to send up thankfulness every day that we have a man running for President who is ethical, honest, consistent, and who understands monetary policy. But one can do more than pray. One can get involved in the process. Walk your precinct for your chosen candidate. Keep information flowing regarding the dismal failure of our current administration. Merry Christmas

Well, Obama is certainly in a class by himself. He will be remembered as the most destructive and divisive president in our history. Of course, that is if he is voted out of office before he and his minions rewrite the history books and classify opposing views as “hate speech”.

This sort of thing just proves that this guy(whoever he really is)should be put away forever. We will have a long hard battle to overcome the damage he has done.
Obama has said some outrageous things but ranking himself as the 4th best President is not only absurd and demonstrates his profound arrogance, but it shows how far out of touch he is with reality. Does he never get poll results or does he simply dismiss them contemptuously? He claims that turning the country around is Congress’ job and the American people’s job (so he can continue playing golf and spend time on lavish vacations). You cannot consider a man so deeply immersed in his own narcissism to be emotionally stable and dependable in decisive moments.
You can watch Jay Carney, Bill Burton, Debbie Wasserman and Robert Gibbs over and over but with no physical reservation, it only takes a matter of seconds to understand how and why they defend this pretend President. The situation is almost like seeing naive, mindless children covering up for one of their friends when being caught for doing something innappropriate. Not quite the same with Obamas situation, these buddies of his are in direct association with treason and they should be held accountable for their support. No matter what Barack Hussein Obama has done in the past or in the present……..HE WILL ALWAYS BE A LEGEND IN HIS OWN MIND.
