Among the many growing problems Barack Obama is facing as he tries to fool enough people into voting for him is the one coming from that weird place on the left side of the country called California.
Once a beautiful state filled with sunshine and the promise of a better life, California has been turned into a socialist gulag by Democrats who have infected her state government from top to bottom. Now it is the model for Obama’s socialist dream for all of America.
Because Democrats do what Democrats will always do when handed full control of a state, California is sagging under the weight of union contracts that provide up to 90% of base pay for retirees and a flood of both peaceful and criminal illegal aliens who are draining away the last few dollars the Golden State has.
With each month, California’s tax revenue shortfall grows exponentially, and therein lays a looming problem for Obama and his Democrat henchmen.
Since tax paying Californians are fleeing in larger and larger numbers BY THE MONTH, the formally wealthy California will very soon HAVE to come to Obama with its sombrero in its hand begging for a bailout.
This request will be a lose – lose for Obama. If he watches California slowly twist in the wind until she lifelessly falls to the ground, he will further damage our national economy and scare the life out of greedy Democrats everywhere else. If he tries to bail out California, he will be stopped by a Republican Congress. That will force him to once again violate the Constitution with yet another Executive Order proving all of the charges of fiat government against him. Either way, he loses because it will prove that socialism doesn’t work.
The question is not whether California will need a bailout – its revenue shortfall doubled from $535 million to $1.2 billion in just a single MONTH- the question is whether or not California Democrats can play “make-believe” until after Election Day to hide the truth.
The smart move for Republicans is to hand the Democrats a shovel and watch as they dig their own graves. Pass me the popcorn, please.

California is truly a shocking revelation that Socialism is even worse than we could have believed. We retired here 23 years ago and it was a great place to live in in every way, tops in everything from climate to infrastructure. Under far left Democrat governance and greedy unions it has sunken to last place among the states, lousy infrastructure,incredibly lousy union run schools, high taxes, high unemployment and very high prices and the worst business climate in the USA! A recent survey reveals that we have the worst state government in the USA! People and businesses are leaving in serious numbers and our nincompoop governor moonbeam is pushing like mad for higher taxes! We had hoped to stay here, but looks like that won’t be possible. Now our witless legislature wants to launch a medical care scheme! How stupid can government get??? Texas looks better and better with each passing day!!!
I moved to california in 2004 and what a wake up call. Not the same state when I left it back in 1971. The liberals and there idiot supporters have ruined a once great state. There are no jobs, the taxes and there BS fees are out of sight and I believe the worst state government in the US. I have a maybe four years to retirement (If I can stand it that long). There anti-gun, anti-hunting tree hugging idiots are running this state into the ground, Oh I almost forgot Moonbeam Brown another liberal obuma supporting idiot. Good luck on increasing the taxes I don’t believe that ones going to fly. Wake Up People and smell the coffee the idiot liberals are ruining this country.
At present I reside in both Ca and Nv and have moved my residence to Nv, the reason is I have reasons to be in Ca but have business related reasons in Nv and I no longer do real biz in Ca because they are nothing more than governmental crooks out to ruin the state with what has become policies of tax theft. The finacial state of Ca is atrocious and they are asking the residents to again shoot themselves in the foot so the government can continue to steal more and do less.
This Ca state government is presently going to close off part of the CSC education but will continue to fund illegals educations and provide them with (and their families) amenities not offered to ordinary legal citizens, the state will not deal with the unions or decertify government unions nor will they combine or remove the more than 750 government agencies as well put a clamp on the legislative typewriter monkees that produce hundreds of new laws weekly and recently the green power CARB is going deal another blow to Ca biz and make life even more miserable for the citizens. Wealth and biz is running away from the government crooks and those hanging on are either stuck or to poor to move. Ca should probably fold by April this year.
