For 2 years, champions of ObamaCare have been careful to lay out the advantages of their federal dictatorship before handpicked audiences of organized labor and supportive media transcriptionists, at events where applause lines have been rehearsed and questions carefully pre-approved.
As a result, the Regime had little idea that anyone of importance might actually disapprove of their 3,000 page effort to separate Americans from their liberty.
So, much of the left entered the 3 day, oral argument phase of ObamaCare before the Supreme Court with the same arrogant exuberance which accompanied the passage of the law. After all, as they saw it, only the ruling of a couple of rogue jurists on the 11th Circuit had placed the left’s dream legislation in front of the 9 DC Justices anyhow. And as liberal CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin put it in 2010, challenges against the law were STILL unlikely to succeed, even before the Supremes.
But apparently, no one warned liberals like Toobin that arguing on behalf of an unprecedented assault on freedom before honest Supreme Court justices might result in a glitch or two in the left’s plans.
And that glitch has now been described as a “trainwreck” as Toobin and other ObamaCare cheerleaders mourn the reportedly disastrous Tuesday and Wednesday sessions before the Court.
For each of the conservative Justices brought up the same question in his own way: “What is the limiting factor in the law?” That is, if the Federal Government has the power to force the American people to buy insurance, what can it NOT force them to buy? What can it NOT force them to do?
The answer is NOTHING! For ObamaCare was never about health insurance. It’s about POWER. Healthcare was chosen simply as the most effective means of implementing and controlling it.
With congressional super-majorities and a Manchurian Candidate in the White House, the radical left was at last in position to affect the most audacious and comprehensive power grab in the nation’s history. And make no mistake, these people will not let it go easily.
Should the Court find the mandate unconstitutional and perhaps take down the entirety of ObamaCare, an assault will be launched against the voting justices, the legitimacy of their ruling, and the credibility of the Court itself. Obama’s media advocates will claim the usual victim classes of women and minorities to have once again been oppressed by the Right.
And Obama himself will pledge to fight the Supreme Court ruling for the good of the people always most sorely abused by the politics of the Right—blacks! Claims of genocide and racism will be repeated by the White House and Democrats in Congress. And their media “echo chamber” will make certain that the phony message is received across the nation.
In short, a correct and necessary ruling by the Supreme Court will be shamelessly utilized for the same hypocritical purpose as the death of Trayvon Martin—the motivation of black voters for the November election.
And should Obama win in November, he will continue the assault on the ruling, hoping to force the notoriously weak-kneed Republican leadership into revamping the law just enough to pass Constitutional muster. The American people will remain the slaves of deliberately thuggish legislation.
Of course, should the election go to Willard, Americans will have nothing to fear. After all, he would NEVER institute a mandatory healthcare scheme now, would he?!

what I am understanding from a video I saw this morning that the supreme court was in cahoots with the whole thing to get O elected, they tried 7 times to change the constitution to read in the second ammendment that a person not born in this country could become pres if he lived for 20 years or 35 years in this country. The constitution reads in the second amendment only a child of two national born citizens of the US can become president. So I don’t trust anyone including the supreme court to hold up our constitution
If I remember correctly, it was not the Supreme Court that attempted on frequent occasions to change the Constitutional requirement for being a natural born citizen, but the Senate. And Barack Obama was involved with the process more than once as was Hillary Clinton.
As for whether Obama will accept the Court’s decision as being Unconstitutional, I doubt it. He has already shown defiance of the courts in the case of the Gulf incident. He likewise has shown that he has absolutely no concern for the will of the people or the law because he considers himself as the all knowing dictator in chief. Therefore, we are his subjects who are to just sit back, shut up and live our lives in accordance with his omniscient wisdom.
This obummer character has to go. He is a cancer in our system.
If you read Article I, Section VIII of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, it becomes apparent that the federal government has absolutely no right to force any citizen to sign a contract, which is the basis of interstate commerce. However, this POTUS has become an artful dodger when it comes to recognizing or complying with our Founding Documents, the two halves of our Executive Branch and the Supreme Court. In fact, he has been observed openly criticizing (durig hisr State of the Union speeches) anyone who openly oposes his policies. As recent as mid-March, Obasma signed into existence “National Defense Resources Preparedness”, which is clearly an Executive Order which enables him to declare martial law whenever it my suit him. I don’t see any of our other federal branches in possession of the intestinal fortitudel that compelled Nixon to resign. In two words, “We are toast”!
Just as Obama will probably use the fact that congress doesn’t care about the constitutional part about their powers and how Obama is ignoring them, if Obama gets folks to ignore the part of the constitution dealing with interstate commerce, Obama can declare that folks don’t care about the constitution so we can throw it out (with the second amendment and with the part about being a Natural Born Citizen to become president).
Isn’t it convenient how a lot of it points to getting folks to accept that the constitution is “out of date” (even justice Ginsberg doesn’t like it)
Our only hope, to restore our constitution is the election of Dr. Ron Paul. The US Supreme court for years are engage in the demise of our constitution, they favor the ideology of the one world order like Obama, The Bush Family and the other SOBS that run our country since Reagan. The question is; will the people of this United States will have the cojones, the guts to revolt and take our country back?.
I still want to know what Reagan did that was so great? I’m not being a smart ass, but, under Reagan he almost doubled the size of the federal gvt. Well what did that do for us? Unalienable rights and freedoms, guaranteed by the American Republic’s Founding Documents, has the potential of being trumped by social justice? There is nothing in there that says anything about the parents. No one wants to see Obama removed from office more than I do but reading between the lines is not the way to do it. All that will accomplish is to bring us down to his level. We can argue the fine points about the eligibility of Obama until the cows come home. I have heard the argument that, at the time the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution, it was said that the definition of a Natural Born Citizen was a person born of two parents who are also Natural Born Citizens. Unfortunately, they did not add that definition in the Constitution. The precedent about the parents was set back in 1881 with the election of President Chester Arthur. His father was not a natural born citizen, The bottom line is that Obama is in the White House weather we like it or not because, through apathy or ignorance, the American People allowed it to happen. Apathy put Obama in the White House and apathy will put him back in there. As I have said many times and I will say it again. APATHY IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO OUR LIBERTIES AND FREEDOMS. NOT OBAMA.

Hey Sarge – Article II, Sectrion 1, of the US Constitution, clearly states that “No person except a natural born Citizen . . . . . shall be eligible to the Office of President”! I don’t see any room for misinterpretation. Neither does Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio!
The Second Amendment clearly defines the right to possess and bear arms for hunting and self-defense.
My primary concern is the “National Defense Resources Preparedness” Executive Order Obama issued on March 16, 2012. If he senses that we won’t be re-elected, he could declare martial law, althought we may not be at war. If that happens, we will need a miracle!

I saw a very interesting documentary this past weekend done by the guy who does the Iron Chef battles. He went to Japan to visit a number of historic/spiritual sites. He spent an especially long time on the man he says was, perhaps, the most famous of all Samurai, following him from his first battle (lost – where 80,000 Samurai on the losing side lost their heads) through his self-imposed exile in the wilderness for four years, training himself in the use of dual swords in battle. He had been through two duels at one of the premier Samurai training academies, willing both. Samurai duels were always to the death, so in winning these, he had killed both. He was challenged to a third duel. He knew there was treachery under foot. He had killed two brothers in the family who had run the school, and had disgraced them, so they were out for retribution. On his way to the prescribed place for the duel, he did what was customary, and stopped at a temple to pray. Their tradition was to pray, ring a bell to announce the prayers had been made, clap two times to send them on their way, and then back away respectfully from the temple. As he finished his prayer, he reached for the bell rope and was overcome by the thought that he should not depend on any God for his salvation in battle. He needed to depend on himself, alone. So he stopped short of ringing the bell, as he believed himself to have been God-enlightened at this point. He backed away from the temple respectfully, and headed off to battle.
On his way, the clan of those he had already killed ambusned him and attempted to assasinate him. He fought them off using his two-sword fighting style, killed several, and the rest retreated. He was uninjured – with the exception of a hole in the arm of his shirt, and a small scratch as an arrow shot in retreat had pierced his garment.
We should not rely on miracles. We should be ready to take on whatever comes our way, and overcome the opposition. Our battle is not with swords and arrows, but with the hearts and souls of the American people. We can’t just have good ideas. We have to have them simple enough and clear enough that we can win them over. We can’t depend on reason alone, as decisions of the heart are rarely made logically.
If obama were to declare martial law, he had better watch out, he might just get a lot more than he bargained for. Many people would just decide that the time for action was then to do away with a government that was no longer for “the people” as provided for by our founding fathers. It would be very unwise on his part.

It is best not to tal too much of revolution and overthrow. It might be taken as “threat” to the government. It would be perhaps much better to point to specifics in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution so that his actions can be related to our two most foundational documents. We never know who is watching and how they interpret our words. Sticking to these nearly-sacred documents for comparison purposes can put things in perspective without a threat – perceived or otherwise. And people do get busted for threats.

And it would come as no surprise to me that he would go after the Supreme Court Justices. I’m sure that is why he wanted Kagen and Sotomayor on the court because with them, he knew he had to strong Ally’s. As former solicitor General though, Kagen is in clear violation of the law because she was the legal mind behind Obama care. But that makes no difference to Obama. What you are talking about is a very grave and terrible thing. I know that many want to see Obama gone. But the way to do it is with the Constitution. No matter what he tries, I think the American people understand that it is a problem. But to rise up against him physically would add fuel to the fire he is trying to build. We don’t want to give him any cause to try it. We do want him out of office. But I don’t think we want to do anything to give him cause.
By the way, I agree that the Right to Bear Arms includes the right to overthrow tyrannical rule in Washington. However, just because you have the right doesn’t mean you want to use it. When talking about rights, you always have to consider consequences. With my kids, now in their 20′s, I have always used the example of having the right of way. If you have a green arrow to make a left turn you have the right of way, but if you see a garbage truck barreling down the road in the oncoming lanes, you don’t decide to make that turn anyway. You may have right of way, but that won’t make you right – and will not guarantee your life.

Thanks very much. Republicans were virtually powerless when ObamaCare was passed. But what exactly have they done since to alert the American public as to the virtually criminal nature of the law? Have they lined up on FOX? Made an appearance every day on Rush? Accused the far left of the power play which is really the object of the law?
Have they even brought to the attention of seniors the fact that death panels do INDEED exist and will be obviously targeting the elderly first? NOPE! As usual they are hiding under their desks with one finger in the air, testing the political winds.

Since he thinks he’s God and since both the Supreme Court and congress are complicit in his how FRAUD of the “presidency” it’s quite possible that he’d declare some “order” that rules over the Supreme Court to do whatever.
The question would then be if Congress and the Supreme Court WAKE Up or whether the people have to TAKE Over (which could be the “end game” since Obama NEEDS “rioting” to give him an excuse to declare Martial Law and bring on the New World Order.
If the court decides based on legal precedent and according to the constitutition, the whole law should be repealed and sent back to the drawing board. There is a need for universal healthcare and most agree on that but, to have Federal powers mandated to do so in total is NOT the way to go and half or more of this heinous act has NOTHING at all to do with healthcare, rather providing funding and denying benefits to those who have paid for them over time and taking the CHOICE to do what is best for themselves and their families away from them. This includes younger families and of course, the elderly on Medicare who will be subject to age discriminatory ajudication of THEIR paid for healthcare if the law stands. He needs to be thrown out of office on a catapult for American citizens to restore what once we had prior to his unvetted and fraudulent election which even Congress refuses to Investigate in spite of public demands to do so: WHY?

If our Supreme Court rules that Obamacare is unconstitutional, that renders it null and void. If Obama attempts to push it through, he should be arrested for, at the very least, contempt of court. Then on to his arrest for fraud and forgery.

Doug, Tell me this. Why will Congress not take up the issue of O’s eligibility? I have on different ocassions, multiple times since the beginning written, emailed both senators and my congressman to ask about that issue. Always get same response that Dems certified and votes were counted and senate confirmed, end of story. There is something about O that they are afraid of, more than being called racist. My R senator sends newsletter complaining how O does not follow the Constitution, then votes for some stupid stuff like NDAA and allowing sodomy and bestiality in the military. I call him on it but I am not sure what the people can do to make them pay attention. I send group emails and faxes, we need more support.

Now, regarding Obama, the Supreme Court, and Impeachment…
I think it is important to put his people under a microscope – starting with Holder. Unfortunately, there is no Special Prosecutor law to fall back on, so we won’t get an adequate investigation into any of the administration’s impropriety until someone else is in the White House. You are only scratching the surface of what we may have before us between now and November. The Trayvon Martin case is such a travesty that I am having a hard time understanding what the motivation could possibly be, if not to galvanize his troops into battle. He is inciting revolt against the State of Florida with the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton They use the words of the Civil Rights era – the 1960′s and 1970′s. But they have one problem. The case is not worthy of those who gave their lives for a just cause. They are not concerned with truth. They are only doing this for one reason – to mobilize the black community at a time when they were ready to desert Obama in droves because of his unbelievalbe failures. But this case will be the first pillar architected to hold up the roof of Obama’s house of cards.
The Trayvon Martin case also is mobilizing gun opponents, and there will be a push to claim it is the law that allowed this tragic event. This will form a second pillar holding up the roof.
The Occupy movement served several purposes. First, it mobilized shock troops for the coming fight. Second, it serves as a force to oppose Tea Party rallies – and will bring violence to them, allowing the media to blame the Tea Party for the violence. Third, it allowed Organizers to identify people they could train to be “point people” in their summer offensive. It helps them identify a large number of fringe people they can indoctrinate. So the Occupiers become yet another support for the roof of Obama’s house of cards.
Obama is also looking for cases to use as wedge issues in other segments of the society.
Obama will use health care as another mobilizer. Though most Americans don’t want the bill he signed, the Supreme Court ruling against it will give large numbers of people a reason to riot. Most leaders don’t want this sort of social instability. It hurts economically. It overloads police. It overloads our jails. And the press will be there ready to report on all the wrong that is being done to these poor people. He wants the instability so he can offer his type of stability as an alternative. We have yet to see if people will fall for it.
The Supreme Court will also have to rule on cases associated with voter ID cards. Here is another Obama wedge issue – trying to galvanize hispanic voters. He will also be using his investigations in Arizona to further this hispanic wedge. Holder will be bringing some charges against Brewer and others in AZ, and they will try to incite hispanic people across the country so he can solidify them in his fold. But associated cases will also be brought to the Supreme Court.
Next is Sheriff Joe. He is also under investigation. I expect that the Feds will arrest him – especially if people start to pay attention more to the results of his Posse. I expect associated charges to be appealed to the Supreme Court.
Candidate identification is also a serious issue coming up. I’ve already seen how people get upset at the suggestion that Obama may not be legally President – and that he may not even truly be an American. There are dozens of charges of felonies being brought against Obama by various state attorneys general. These will also be brought before the Supreme Court.
The predictions of riots through the summer by George Soros and others are not a surprise. If they happen it will be because George isn’t just making a prediction. He’s financing it.
I’m getting a bit tired, so I’ve got to call this monologue to an end. But please, people, beware that there is a lot more to what is going on in the White House than meets the eye. Expect that this summer may be more dangerous than any threat we’ve seen since the 1960′s.

I think Martial Law (as opposed to Marital Law, or that old cowboy Marshall Law) is probably a bit much right now. If he were to try declaring it, he’d have to have all HIS generals and admirals in place. I don’t think he could find enough who would support him over the Constitution. That is one great thing about this country. The Constitution is the standard.
I also get the feeling that even the Democrats would find that to be “High Crimes and Misdemeanors”. Maybe not Pelosi or Reid, but the vast majority of those who are in Congress. So impeachment would be under way before he got very far.
Face it – the majority of our law enforcement and military people have great respect for the Constitution. They also don’t really care all that much for Obama. So there isn’t likely to be all that much in his favor on the Martial Law front.

The Bible teaches us that God gave Mankind free will in the Garden of Eden. It is only when men submit to other men that free will is compromised.
Our heritage should be defended as nearly sacred. I know there are those who disagree. From the perspective of many in this country, America was, in fact, oppressive. In the 1960′s, this oppression was finally released – 100 years after a war was fought over it. But two generations later, we are still talking about it, and there are those who believe it is still there now. They see Obama as a savior – one to lead them out of darkness – rather than one casting us into darkness.
We need to be able to tell them why and how he is wrong. We need to be able to show them that we are the nation we are today because of the freedom we have. We have technology today that has surpassed all the rest of the world produced because of our freedom. Our wealth as a nation comes from free people overcoming challenges, not from government providing for us. This isn’t an easy argument to make.
We know now who the Republican presidential candidate will be. But we also know that he is not the type of man who can clearly define a vision of the future and give people hope for “change we can believe in”. It is up to each of us to express that ourselves and personally show those we see every day that our future lies in what we can do as individuals, and not on the bureaucracy in Washington. That is the challenge we need to overcome.

In general, your sentiments are reflected here. However, there are many people I know who freely admit to voting for him, and actually believe he is right. I’m amazed at that. Most of those who believe in him don’t even make an effort to understand other points of view. They are angered at the mere mention of opposition. The reaction is so swift and strong that it is irrational. I think it comes from a place at a much deeper level than conscious thought. It is as though it is a conditioned response. It is frightening to think of what this might mean. I know that much of the Left’s agenda has been taught to teachers in New York. That is where my family is from. There were classes given to all public school teachers on how to identify students at a very early age who might be gay and encourage them to explore this. They’ve been taught things that have never been proven as factual – like many environmentalists beliefs, whether a person is “naturally” gay or it is a matter of choice, labor issues, redistribution of wealth, etc. This is really scarey stuff, when you think about it. Teachers are taught that left-wing agenda issues are “right”. Then they’re also taught how to include these themes in their lessons. Most of them do. What do you think that does to our students?

Here are answers to two issues you raise. Please keep them in mind.
Trayvon Martin’s case is tragic. As a father of four, I can’t imagine the pain it must have brought his parents to hear that their son was dead. It probably was especially bad because of how he died – being shot by a neighborhood watch person. But though I sympathize with the parents’ pain, I also recognize that their struggle now is not simply a matter of whether it was right or wrong. It is a “dog wagger”. The Obama alliance has taken Trayvon Martin as a poster child for getting blacks mobilized. They were on the edge of turning against him as a result of the fact that their plight is worse since he has been in office. But now, he has another issue that incites anger in their hearts as a result of being told that Zimmerman committed murder. It brings up images if racial bias from back before the 1960′s. It causes them to remember lynchings and cross-burnings that occurred for nearly a century after the Civil War. It ignites the fuel in their hearts of fear of returning to those days, and how terrible the struggle was. And for the Black community, it is a religious issue. The major historically black denominations of Christianity include civil rights icons like Rosa Parks in their books of worship, and there is a sizable plurality of the Black Christians who believe very strongly in the “Black Liberation Theology”. They relate their struggle to that of the Jews As is the case with the Black Muslim theology, a fairly large percentage believe that white people are evil. They believe that they should trust a black person over a white person. It is a religious issue, to a large extent, and it is very hard to overcome. I don’t suggest for a minute that it is right. But it should help provide some understanding. This is one part of Obama’s use of this issue, and it is something we need to learn to overcome. The other part is, of course, igniting the anger – and fund-raising ability – of the anti-gun activists. So he has started rallying his troops for the coming battle ending in November.
The second thing I’d suggest has to do with Israel. As there is huge distrust of whites by blacks, so there is distrust of Christians by Jews. They essentially see Hitler’s reign as a religious fight with Christians. It also isn’t right, but it is what they believe. That is what we need to overcome. Like blacks are fearful of returning to the days when racial bias was against them, Jews are afraid of returning to a time when Christiams (read that as white Republicans) persecute Jews. It isn’t that there is anything right in their concerns. It is just that they are afraid of the potential consequences, and we need to learn how to communicate with them in a way that tells them we understand their concers and that we are not the ones they have to fear. With a Ron Paul out there taling about how the US should never have supported Israel, it isn’t hard to see how they could believe Republicans are the cause of the problems, and Democrats are more trustworthy. They’re wrong, but their fear is very real and can’t just be put aqside..

I understand your health concerns. Remember that one of the first things Hitler did once his power was solidified was to murder the mentally handicapped and severely psychologocally disturbed. Obama will do it through attrition. If you can’t care for yourself, you’ll die. If you aren’t fed, you will starve. Your intravenous feeding will be stopped, etc. Maybe you’ll be sent home or to your kids’ house, but at some time things will reach the point where you can’t be cared. In Obama’s plan, your sentence is already clear.

There are two kinds of people in the world – white people and people of color. As far as the anti-colonialists are concerned, white people are people of primarly European background – unless, in fact, you are of Spanish descent. In this case, you are Hispanic if your ancestry comes from South or Central America, Mexico, or the Spanish colonies in the Carribean. If, however, your family has been in this country so long that the accent is gone, you may be considered white. If you are from California and have a latino last name, you are also considered hispanic. Finally, if you or your family is actually from Spain, then you are not hispanic unless they came to this country through one of the truly hispanic countries.
“People of color” are any people whose genetic background is recently from South or Central America, Mexico, the Carribean, Africa, Asia, Oceana, or have descended from the native people of North America, Australia, New Zealand, or, when politics demands it, southern Europe.
Bobman, I forgot.There is one more characteristic that I’d forgotten about. Anyone Islamic automatically belongs to “people of color” – even those who are not. And if their votes are needed, Jews are also considered honorary “people of color” by virtue of the fact that they are among “the downtrodden”, or in other words, those who have been historically mistreated by northern Europeans.
Just in case there is any misunderstanding, the statements made above are not declaring anybody to be “inferior” or “superior”. It is also not me who has put these categories in place. They are categories of people that are known to the Left. The Left has an uncanny need to put people into boxes and keep them isolated – unless it is time to vote. In that case, they must all be brought together against a common enemy – us.
It’s imperative to understand that ObamaCare is NOT about healthcare, it’s about the acquisition of POWER. Should it be found Constitutional, the absolute authority it provides the federal government will be used a precedent before the court in every succeeding power grab by the government.
For example, fast food restaurants will be CLOSED by the state as they sell food declared DANGEROUS by Big Brother. Such food causes illness, raises the costs of healthcare and therefore, the feds have the authority to close them down!
Private home pools could be declared a hazard! Not eating enough fruit! The government will own complete authority over everything we do.
Dang…I still didn’t finish that right. The Left has a need to have an enemy. There must be an “us” and a “them”, and to them, they are “us” and we are “them”. Without being able to point to “them” they have nobody to blame their failures on. So they need us to be “them” so tha tthey can blame “them” for doing bad things to “us”. It is always us who is bad. They don’t do anything for themselves. They do everything for “us” – roughly translated as their 35% of the 99%.
I agree, Snidley! The left appears to need class envy and warfare in order to allow them to perceive they are accomplishing something. Thus, the adage, “liberalism is a mental disorder”! At least we have a plan: Hope for the best, prepare for the worse and always expect a miracle! Either way, we’ll never be disappointed!
Thanks to all who participated in the exercise of mental gymnastics. All of you presented very good points worth consideration. However, the bottom line is Obama now holds all the cards. He can continue posturing against all factions of government and society until the results of November 6, 2012 are in. Should he resent the results, he merely has to implement his “National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order he passed on Friday, March 16, 2012. This comprehensive document provides President Obama with full dictatorial powers needed to enable hiim to retain full Executive powers until he has achieved his ultimate objective. You’re right, for the most part. He may be able to invoke such powers by the law, but I am still of the belief that our military is noble and honorable. Though there may be some officers who will follow him anywhere he leads, I believe that most of our military takes their oath to the Constitution seriously.
I do think, though, that he is now going well beyond what would normally be considered appropriate. He has insulted the Supreme Court during his State of the Union a couple years ago, but today reports have it that he virtually threatened the Supreme Court – daring them to rule agains Obamacare. This is not a good sign.
When you add that to threats being made against journalists, their families, and now allegations about threats agains the Clintons, we are beyond the point of simple impropriety. He has yet to act openly, but I expect it to come. The big question, CC, is whether he decides to “drone” us.

I agree with your intent. However, at this point in time, I think it probably hurts you more than helps you to be quite so dramatic in your campaign video. I still don’t think the American people are quite ready for what you are saying.
Regarding criminality, it would be difficult to prove that the Fed is a criminal organization. It exists as a result of an act of congress, and I would be very surprised if several challenges to their existence have not been made in court.
I would be concerned about trying to jail members of the Administration without documentation. There are laws on the books requiring every piece of data (email, etc) produced in the government be saved, including emails, meeting minutes, etc. They’re archived for years. There will be ample time to investigate once he is out of office. Our focus at this point should be on making sure that happens.
Here in the People’s Commune of Montgomery County, in the Union of Socialist Communes of Maryland, I voted today. I had a difficult time getting the election judge to leave me in the booth on my own, but eventually I had a chance to cast my vote for Newt, his delegates and alternates, and for Rep. Roscoe Bartlett. I look forward to seeing the election in November turn Senator Ben Cardin out of office, and perhaps allow us to extend our margin in the House, and regain the Senate, so that even if the President manages to squeek through in office, we will have the strength in congress to boot him out and put him where he deserves. But I have a very hard time of people starting to talk about violence. This will only play to his advantage. It is what he wants to justify the totalitarian rule he craves. Lets beat him in the ballot box, and beat his supporters. But we should not be talking about taking this too far right now.
