I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but it is perplexing that our youth and even some older folks have become totally absorbed in stories with subject matter or overtones concerning death.
Whether it be the Twilight saga where people are promised eternal life by becoming vampires or shows like “The Walking Dead” where live people are killing off zombies. I don’t quite understand what the attraction here is. Is this pushing a form of collectivism or just denying that human life isn’t even that important anymore?
It is sickening to me to see teenage kids playing a game called “Zombie” and crawling around on the floor making strange hissing noises while chasing other kids in the game. Yes, I have seen this with my own eyes with my neighbor’s children. In fact, I asked my neighbor just recently (who is a teen by the way) why she is so obsessed with this death and zombie stuff, and her only response was that it is cool.
Maybe some of these people need to see death first hand. Maybe a trip to an abortion clinic to see infants getting killed and tossed into a trash can or our troops being sent home from the Middle East in body bags in pieces might wake them up. Or maybe it is just denying the fact that only Jesus Christ is the only one that can give us eternal life.
Unfortunately, America is now a dying culture that has been overrun with this type of mindset. Or is it mind control? You decide; but until then, stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings.

Well, our leaders are seemingly SATANIC by their doings, so seeing the LEMMINGS take it another step to look dead is a reasonable next step.
I just don’t get it and NEVER will!
As you, stated young people are obsessed by death. When I was younger, we played cowboys and Indians or war. We played with fake guns, bows and arrows or used apple or pine- cones as hand grenades, certainly a lot of death in those games. Now if children use their imagination using fingers as a gun it is not politically correct. How are young people supposed to use their minds? Seems as though however the young people use their minds they are wrong. Do you have a suggestion?
It is not just sex education they are teaching in schools, BUT DEATH!!!

Could ‘Death Education’ In Our Schools Also Be To Blame?

What exactly is Death Education? Back in 1990, ABC’s 20/20 actually did an investigative report that, to quote Hugh Downs, was “overly morbid.” PLEASE watch closely at about 11 minutes in where they talk about Death Ed at Columbine High School…
It was quite shocking to see that one of the students they interviewed was from Columbine, about a decade before the tragedy. It gives you reason to question if this program is harmless as some may argue or detrimental to the well-being of impressionable students who may already be having emotional difficulties. I think what’s most disturbing, besides seeing young kids playing with coffins, reading your child’s obituary, or seeing their name on a tombstone, is that none of these teachers are professional psychologists or have any experience in the field to deal with the raw emotions that these programs unleash. They might have received a certificate from a one-day training session, but that cannot possibly cover everything that they would need to know in order to answer all the questions that are raised. An important part to note in the video is at the end, when they talk about if parents know that this is in the curriculum. As the reporter says, most don’t; but it was comforting to hear someone in the media say “parents know if the kids are emotionally ready for it”, even if it was 22 years ago! Unfortunately, it still is being taught today.
We try and blame guns, video games, movies, television, and even psychiatric drugs; but maybe it is time to take a closer look at what is going on in our schools today. What good can come from teaching this type of curriculum? Why should we idolize death or expose young children to suicide when they are already confused about so many other things and are just trying to deal with the pressures of fitting in.
Maybe instead of trying to blame guns, we should take a closer look at what our children are exposed to in their own schools. Maybe we should stop blaming inanimate objects and actually sit down with our kids and talk to them. Maybe we should all be much more involved in our children’s education and not be naive enough to think that we can leave it up to politicians and teachers who might not have their best interest in mind.
I think it’s time we start standing up for a generation that is constantly being exposed to controversial material without our consent. Find out if Death Education is in your school. Find out what the curriculum is, and voice your opinion. One person can make a difference.
Yes, our children are very much interested in the programs of The Walking Dead, Vampires and the like. Hollywood has impacted our children greatly with this outlandish crap, all for the sake of money and fame. However, they are also seeing examples of death right in front of them daily. We have allowed our children to become so confused with the news filled with the actions of cult groups, killings by terrorists, so-called religions right here in our own country, with killings of their own children, so much death from the wars, add to that what some of the schools are teaching them, that we parents are not even aware of. The internet has added somewhat to it also, they have access to the cult groups, like Goth, Wiccans and more. Life alone is trying for children to understand, growing up is a hard process and with all that is thrown at them, it is no wonder they are confused. There was a time in our country that we did not allow honor killings and the like. America was a proud country, respected by the world for our efforts on the world behalf. We taught our children to live in accord to our laws, pray, worship our God, be proud of there country, the pledge, 10 commandments, respect each other, not to be selfish or hurtful, in other words, we lived a christian life. Since 9/11 they have been told America brought the destruction on ourselves, we were obnoxious, to proud, uncaring, our military(their fathers, brothers, cousins and friends) were killers of babies, we were devils and we should all be destroyed. The politicians have become so worried about everyone being politically correct and to get votes, our country is now a hot bed of bending our laws and way of life to suite everyone coming into our country, that our children are not even sure what America is or stands for anymore. They are no longer taught in our schools, about how our great nation was founded, about the wonderful God loving men who faught and died to free us and by their faith in God, blood, sweat and tears America became the greatest nation ever. How men, like the grandfather they loved, faught the tryanny of Hitler, to free Europe and make sure tryanny never came into their lives. If they are taught some history of America it is so distorted and untruthful, so as to make America out to be the terriost of the world, which is extremely confusing and hard for our children to deal with. Now TODAY, with threats of nuclear warfare every day, and in front of their eyes, they are watching the creation of a tryannical government right here in America. Threats of personal weapons confiscation, while the government is purchasing thousand upon thousands of ammunitions and weapons, of drones flying over head to spy on them, threats of Martial Law with troops patrolling the streets, which they are smart enough to know will lead to a civil war. And we wonder why they act different and play games they can blow things up and kill things. They are taking their fear, frustrations and anger out the only way they know how, on the games. They wear costumes trying to get our attention and understanding, along with explanations of what the He!! is wrong with this world and where do they fit in. I would love to help each of them out, but I do not know myself, how we got to this point. My prayer is, Heavenly Father please stop this madness and let Jesus come today!
Zombies are the new political correct organism that can be stabbed, hacked, shot and beheaded without offending any one group of sensitive people. Since they are already dead, killing them is no big moral issue. If you look at netflix you will see a slew of zombie movies. Will zombies sue hollywood for offending them, nope.
Since we can’t call a extremist Muslim a terrorist when he blows up innocent people and going after terrorist groups would be considered racial profiling, zombies are a sure bet for hollywood. What would happen if a show or movie where made depicting some vigilante going after black or hispanic thug gangs who terrorize a city and keep honest people in fear for their live everyday.
