When told that Rush Limbaugh was once again calling out the White House on the unconstitutional government takeover of Chrysler and GM, Robert Gibbs started in with an attack on Rush.
Gibbs: “Look, Rush Limbaugh and others wanted to walk away. Rush Limbaugh and others saw a million people that worked at these factories, that worked at these parts suppliers, that had — that supported communities, and thought we should all just walk away. The president didn’t think that walking away from a million jobs in these communities made a lot of economic sense,”
Gibbs and the White House’s war with Rush started in the first weeks of the administration, with the White House using a deliberate strategy of Rush demonization. The only result of this was the destruction of our economy while they spent their time attacking a political commentator.
Now they are at it again.

I would ask him to disprove that, had GM and Chrysler reorganized under a Chapter 11 bankruptcy, they would have created millions more jobs and lost none, while adding ZERO to the national debt. Is that ALL? Lots of people who are conservative believe that BO is a natural born citizen or, are uncertain about it. IMHO, you made it sound like Beck is a coward…someone to disregarded … like he supports the Obama LPCLDP in its entirety. If anyone thinks that, then they haven't actually watched… and listened to …. any of Beck's programs.
Coward is defined by the online Webster-Merriman Dictionary as: one who shows disgraceful fear or timidity. He definitely is NOT that.
Since listening to Beck, I have had my eyes opened to a lot of things that is going on that I never dreamed would happen in this country. Also, I've learned a lot of history of how this nation came into existence… things which I was never taught in school.
Though I do not go along with everything he says, I believe Beck does a great service. But, as with anything else and as he himself urges us to do: check it out for yourself!

Gibbs fails to inform the American people that all the money paid back to date has been from the borrowed money not used yet in the loan. No profit from these two auto makers has been paid out to reduce these loans. General Motors says it needs another loan and yet hasn't made a penny to pay on the first loan. I'll bet if Obama does give them another loan, they'll use part of it to pay on the first loan again. The foreign company that bought Chrysler was required by Obama to put an influx of cash into Chrysler before he would approve the sale so Chrysler wouldn't need a second loan as General Motors now does. The money that Chrysler has paid on its loan is also from moneys not used yet in that loan and also has not put a penny of profit toward the payment of that loan. The facts don't exactly match the rhetoric of Obama and Gibbs, do they.
obummer hasn't saved any jobs in the private sector, but he has added many (czars) to the
government sector which are highly overpaid.
Economics and the American legal system is a concept so repulsive to this administration, they will say and do anything to corrupt the nation as a whole, folks like Rush, Beck and Hannity are a stop block, they telleveryone who cannot watch what they do, what is going to happen and why. Bankruptcy is not equivalent to shutting down every job at GM or Chrysler… Chapter 11 Bankruptcy is REORGANIZATION… millions of jobs would not have been lost if GM and Chrysler had went bankrupt. Jobs saved are impossible to determine and with the history of lies told by this administration any numbers they state regarding jobs saved are simply hyperblia… more lies.
For Gibbs to claim that Rush or anyone else that objected to the unconstitutional take over of GM and Chrysler by the Federal Government did not care about their employees and those of their suppliers is false. One thing for sure is that we continue to LOOSE jobs every month under this administration. This administration has said there will likely be a systemic unemployment rate of 9-10% for the next couple of years. This is hardly indicative of saving jobs.
