I have no sympathy for these morons. Shame on them for depending on government to help them in the first place. I might sound harsh, but I am not sorry at all.

Do you remember how badly Bush was beat up on regarding Katrina. At least he acted more quickly than Obama has. It amazes me that there are still some without power. From what I am hearing, they are getting more help from charities and private citizens than from FEMA or the Red Cross. I will never give to Red Cross again. But with everything that is going on – this recovery, the Fiscal Cliff, the people in Syria murdering their own people, telling Israel they need to show more compassion, where is Obama. I heard he has played goft 4 times since the election. He is the poorest excuse of a man that I have ever seen.

And I want all the victims of Sandy to keep in mind that Barry and family is comfortable spending millions more on another vacation while the budget is not resolved and your needs have not been resolved!! And everyother issue for the CITIZENS have not been resolved!! Anyone affected by the devastation of this storm that DID vote for Obama….you got what you wanted so now you have to live with it!!

The people who voted for Obama are maggots according to the Treasure of TX and he sure did call it right. He also said they deserved anything Obama did but why do the ones who didn’t vote for him have to suffer his stupidity? FEMA is a big joke and another waste of money but what they spend is money the president can’t spend. What gets me is we send billions of dollars to other countries that suffer disasters and Obama gave the black farmers over 2 billion dollars but yet our government has not helped the people who lost so much in the disaster from Sandy. It is our tax payers who pay the money and it is this bunch of crooks and liars in DC who spend the taxes the people pay on what ever they want to spend it on and if there isn’t enough money they just print more. They can’t help the people of the United States but they can help people in Africa or anywhere else that have disasters. Just not the USof A
Living in Florida all my life, I know all too well what damage hurricanes can cause. Of course, Florida primarily relies on it’s own emergency management office, learning long ago NOT to count on the Feds. We’ve NEVER turned down help just because they weren’t union either. Be that as it may, I have little sympathy for New Yawkers or Jersies. Both those states overwhelmingly vote Obama. Well, now they have him…again. How’s that working for you now? Careful what you wish for…..
Why should these people expect anything from the Government. Living with-in 100 miles of the coast is dangerous. The closer to the coast the more dangerous to being washed away from a storm. You wanted to live on a dangerous beach. DUH, Call your insurance agant. What no insurance? Well to bad. Government in not in the business of holding your hand. YOU are RESPONSIBLE for where you live. I love the beach also but i live 130 miles away..

@ Florida-Patriot , that’s funny , because last year , Florida State was crying about what happened when that last big hurricane hit , and , they also was crying about ” how come the power is still out ” , after two days . The Staten Isl. people haven’t any thing , for over a month now . Yet , you sit there in front of your PC and saying ” I lived all my life in FLA. , blah , blah , blah ” .
You know , maybe if the banks that were washed away , it might have made sense , of what you are trying to say , but , you can’t get money to rebuild a home if you don’t have ANYTHING to even try to build something . The Feds aren’t even trying to help any one . And one other thing , the Feds didn’t even say any hurricane warning until two days before Sandy hit . At least , in the North East coast . And , it was a ” perfect storm ” too . It was aided by a Nor’ Easter storm , and a winter storm , that went over 550 miles inland . All you deal with is a hurricane in FLA. .
First off – Red Cross is not a Federal agency… They provide that which was donated to them….
Now for you who voted for a government that will provide your every need; please tell me again how great Pres. Obama is! Most of you voted Democrat, how’s that working for you today.

Well I feel for these people- but when you choose to live where you live you take that risk..and if you continue to want to live there near big water then you better be able to rebuild on your own. Where I live we have tornadoes and do you think for one minute the Government would help me…NO….and would not expect them too. That is why I pay for insurance not depending on the Government to do it.. So you Obama people on the East Coast good luck with that..Maybe you need to look at another place to live like maybe Texas- We take care of ourselves. I cannot stand the hand outs you think you deserve.. Sorry for your loss but you need to be able to take care of your own..I am tired of paying for it..
@ Tweatyz , hmm , did any time when a natural disaster add up over 45 billion dollars in your State ? That’s what N.Y. State is looking at . And , flooding can happen any time , and you don’t have to even live near water . You sound like a couple others on this page , you think that any body that live in N.Y. State , you must have voted for Hussein . I didn’t . Never did , never will . When you don’t have the money , and when you build your house , and you lose it , and the government is only giving you less than a quarter of what it’s worth , wouldn’t you be pissed too ?

When non-union electrical workers & linemen from states as far as Florida & Alabama drove their trucks & equipment, at their own expense, up to NJ & NY to help out, and were turned away because they weren’t union, all sympathy votes went out the window. If you live within 50 miles of the east coast, you MUST have your own insurance (that will cover hurricanes, flood, wind, etc) and backup generators. If you cannot afford these things, then move inland. You should also have a couple of evac plans. Municipal governments and local utility companies are responsible for infrastructure, not insurance. NONE of the above falls under FEMA’s pervue. In fact, I’m not sure what really does any more. If you still don’t have power, water, or roads, whine to your locals about it. The FEDS don’t fix ANY of that. The southern states learned this a LONG time ago. You idiots who voted for OB just because he walked on a NJ beach with your Governor, should probably keep emailing the WH website demanding some love. Keep in mind that he’s currently on a beach in HAWAII right now, and never really gave a damn about any of you. he got what he needed…votes. Dumbazzes. You asked for him, you got him. Happy now?

Yeah , Florida- patriot , Southern States learned , a long time ago , that’s why they are always crying about ” we asked for ” X ” amount of money , but we only got this much ” , every time a natural disaster hits . Again , it’s been over a month since the storm hit , and most of coast people in N.Y. are still out of power , and starving . At least in the hurricane victims in the Southern States got a place to live and eat when they needed it .
